easyJet commenced operations from Liverpool in 1997 - and things just grew from there!

easyJet, the cut-price "no-frills" airline offers services from Liverpool to 16 destinations - Alicante, Amsterdam, Barcelona, Belfast, Berlin/Schonefeld, Faro, Geneva, Innsbruck (winter timetable), Jersey, Krakow, Lisbon, Madrid, Malaga, Nice, Palma and Paris/CDG. During high summer, the airline also flies to Ibiza and Mahon. The airline is launching three new routes - Bordeaux, Dubrovnik and Naples from June 2009.

The company now operates an all Airbus A319 base at Liverpool.

The low-fares airline currently offer services to over forty destinations (some of the following are seasonal and some are due to be withdrawn - check with the airline)...Alghero, Alicante, Belfast (George Best Airport), Bergerac, Budapest, Bydgoszcz, Carcassonne, Cork, Derry, Dublin, Faro, Fuerteventura, Gdansk, Girona, Granada, Grenoble, Kaunas, Knock, Krakow, Limoges, Lodz, Madrid, Malaga, Milan, Murcia, Nantes, Nimes, Oslo (Torp), Palma, Paris/Beauvais, Pisa, Porto, Poznan, Reus, Riga, Rome, Santiago de Compostela, Szczecin, Seville, Shannon, Stockholm (Skavsta), Tenerife, Turin, Valencia, Venice and Wroclaw. A new service to Ibiza commences on the 30th March.

KLM

The airline commenced a 3x daily service to Amsterdam on the 29th March 2009, using KLM Cityhopper Fokker 70 jets. The new service not only takes you to Amsterdam, it also offers connections to over 100 worldwide destinations on KLM’s own intercontinental network and over 650 destinations across KLM’s SkyTeam partner networks. The Hungarian low-cost carrier currently operates services to Katowice, Warsaw and Gdansk. A new three-times a week service to the Czech capital Prague is to commence 11th July 2009.
